About Me: Vonda Lacey is the first exclusive buyer's agent in the Greater Augusta Association of Realtors. She takes pride in her knowledge of the real estate market and in her knowledge of financing programs. She stays on top of the market in order to insure that her buyer-clients don’t miss out on any new listings that come on the market. Her knowledge of financing programs helps her clients find the best program for their needs, whether they’re looking for their first home or their last home.She has been a buyer specialist since 1998 and has earned her GRI (Graduate of the REALTORS® Institute), the ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and is currently working towards the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation. She has received numerous yearly awards for her sales performance but really takes pride in going the extra mile to help her buyers. She has gone the extra mile in the community, too, being awarded the News-Virginian’s Community Involvement Award for 2003. Being busy in the community doesn't slow her down: in 2003 she ranked third among area selling agents in sales volume, in 2004 was #18, in 2005 she is #6, & in 2006 is #10.Vonda is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and has been married to Kevin for seventeen years. She and Kevin have three Wonderful, Great, Outstanding children, Phillip (a 2nd Lt in the Army National Guard Reserves, a 2006 Graduate of VMI, & a HS Literature Teacher at Fishburne Military School), Lauren (a Freshman at Grace Christian School & the #1 Youth Halter Gelding 18 & under with the American Paint Horse Association in 2006), and Paul (a Kindergardner, who is often featured in Kevin’s advertising).Vonda is active in her church, Memorial Baptist Church in Staunton, singing in choir & teaching 5/6th grade sunday school. She also loves doing for others, decorating and caring for her 2 dogs, Riley a black lab mix, Oakley a border collie, & Lox a yellow tabby cat.Vonda relaxes once a month by playing Bunko w/ her girlfriends!
